Rambling and Kat’s Summer Playlist – Part One

I started writing a post yesterday, simply with: “Oh how I hate this Tuesday.”

I tell ya.

My first days back at work have been no picnic: I feel my blood pressure rising and the stress returning and my post-holiday-blues chanting in my ear that I have a long time to wait for another break.

But. I am trying to focus on the positive stuff (as always) and I can now say I’ve heard half of my album – it’s sounding great! There are always tweaks to be made, but overall I am pretty impressed and excited to hear the other half.  I’ll update the campaign page as soon as I have something more to add!

I’m also hoping to have my album cover shoot soon, just trying to tie down a date with the photographer…

In other news, I now have two holiday posts to write, and will do ASAP – the most recent holiday was fantastic but of course a little stressful – family always are.  I’m looking forward to just doing nothing on Sunday.

But. This post is just a “hiiii!” and to post this little playlist for the summer (part one, the summer is not halfway through) – so much great music to listen to at the moment!

Barenaked Ladies – Odds Are

KT Tunstall – Made of Glass

Daft Punk – Get Lucky

Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen

The Naked and Famous – Young Blood

Taylor Swift – 22

Rilo Kiley – Let Me Back In

Fleetwood Mac – Don’t Stop

Natalie Maines – Free Life

The Pierces – We Are Stars

Imagine Dragons – Radioactive

Demi Lovato – Without The Love

Tegan and Sara – I’m Not Your Hero

Lennon & Maisy Stella – Ho Hey

Boards of Canada – Split Your Infinitives Reach For the Dead

So, to come, of course:  Majorca, musical musings, le France, concert times!
